Limitationsof quantity in goods receipt in batch .

Hi experts,

we have activated batch management for finished goods.If producion order quantity is 1000 .Client wanted after production of same quantity, at the time of receiving in batches system should genrate 10 batches and every batch should not allow more than 100 quantity .

Hi vilas,

For this , you need to confirm the production order partially for 100 qty each as 10 times .

so if you do the setting in the customizing as when ever the production order is confirmed system need to create the batch number.

Then even if you complete the production, pls confirm the prodction order partially for 100 number , so system create the batch number for this 100 qty.

so u can get the 10 diff batch number for this same production order.

At the time of receiving the goods,if we are putting more than 100 nos against single batch,system by default stop Goods recipt,or throw some warning or error.

hi villas,

Pls be clear in genrated the batches. in last thread ,i explained about to create the batches while confirm the order. if u do the partiall confirmation against single production order. sysytem generate each batch for the each confirmation.

or

you can generate the batches for goods movement in the configuration setting.

spro - logistics gen -batch mgmt - creattion of new batches - define bathces creation of goods mvmt

there you can mention whether auto/ manuall creation of batches.

so for your question , the ans : system will not thru any error while GR .

Standard function don't do it.You may use exit to implement it.
