Is their any way to controlling the columns length irrespective of the page footing, I try to control by PF, but it is effecting total page (2 columns)

I want only second column end up with 75% of the column length and should go to next page wile printing. This should not affect the first column.....

If I understand the scenario correctly you have a multi column report, 2 columns, and you want the data in the column on the right to go to a new page after 75% of the records in that column have appeared.

If the row height of the details section is fixed and there are no can grow items you could use a new page after formula similar to the following where there are 40 records per column;

remainder(recordnumber, 70) = 0

So 40 records will appear in the column on the left and 30 in the column in the right.

Hi Graham,

According to your formula we can print required statement after 70th record,

But my requirement is also discontinue the printing records in that page ones the statement prints. And printing of the records must continue on the new page from 71st recordu2026

Krish.

Hi

1) Right click on the object > Size and position > And specify the width of the column

2) right click on the objects > format fields> lock size and position.
