Error while applying temporary license on ECC system ?

Hi all,

I tried to apply temporary license in my ECC 6.0 system as license was expired and i was not able to login in client 000 with sap* user so i tried for temp license at OS level but it throwed an error, when i used saplicense temp at command prompt at OS level an error occured. Please see the error text below.

Connect to database failed

DbSlConnect failed with return code 29

When i checked with R3trans it gave an error RC = 0012.

I checked the log file trans.log , given below is the log file details.

Hi

Check SAP note 556232. Make necessary environmental variable entries as given in note. This should resolve the error.

1. which license expired:permanent license or temporary license?

2. can you post sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora files here
