sales order stock doesn't exist for serial number management material

Hi all

Material 8003-30-65210 is a in-bound production material for my company, it used to be a material without batch or serial number management. Yesterday I made it under serial number management and used IQ01 to create serial number for the existed inventory, at the same time I also activated the equipment view. Finally I can find the equipment & serial number through MMBE-Equipment & serial number.

The problem is that when I want to post a goods delivery to customer with VL02N, after I add the serial number and then I click post and issue, there is a error which shows that sales order stock 11015727 does not exist. But there is unrestricted-use stock in the warehouse.

Can anybody help me? Thanks a lot.

Your sales order is11015727 created with the item category with a special stock indicator E during creation

Item category is marked with special stock indicator E during order creation

Please use t code MB1B movement type 412 E and input the order no and save and then try to create delivery and pgi

If already you have created or saved the delivery and put the delivery in change mode and then delete the delivery and do the MB1B process and then create delivery

Hi,

As per your statement, the stock is lying as a free stock. Not a sales order stock. Sales order stock means it is special stock. You need to do the transfer posting from free stock to the particular sales order stock, through 413 or 411 (I am not sure) movement type. Then only the system will consider as the sales order stock.
