download editable ALV

hello experts,

i have a ALV output with oops with one field editable but when I download it as excel file after changing the editable field's value, then it gives me error that Field symbol has not yet been assigned.

Please help me out.

    Hi,

    At PAI, you should call method check_changed_data also.

    Otherwise value will not come even you put it already.

    This is due to performance reason of SAP (I can't not remember OSS regarding this)

    Example: Assume that you declare G_GRID as a work area for alv_grid

    DATA G_GRID TYPE REF TO cl_gui_alv_grid.
    
    ....
    
    CALL METHOD g_grid->check_changed_data.  "Put this line into PAI after press any button

      when I use oops ALV and download as local file then it gives dump saying that Field symbols not assigned......when I use REUSE alv then it gives dump saying that overwriting an protected field....

      this is the Error....

      Can you please dome now...
