Change of Personnel info at Portal front

Hello All,

In ESS, I wanted to change my personnel information like age, sex and other info. But i can't see the edit/modify option. How do I enable that tab. Is it possible while providing permission to that user profile?

Also i don't want to change the user data at backend system at infotype.

Hi Swarna,

Logon to ECC System and navigate to

T.Code SPRO - Personnel Management - Employee Self-Services - Service-Specific Settings - Address Book - Who's Who - Maintain Settings - Under Change own data to be maintained - enable Allow own data to be maintained.

For knowing which FM is called to get the data.

go to ST05 and switch on the trace for the user you are logging into Portal.

And do the work on Portal and once done disable the trace and display the trace to know what all FM's are been called in that action.
