Java system error: RSRD_X_PRODUCE_PROXY in BI Web Analyser

Hi All,

When i tried to execute Information Broadcasting in BI Web Report I am getting below error.

Below is the error log:

Java system error: call FM RSRD_X_PRODUCE_PROXY to ProgId STEPPRD_PORTAL_SEP on host stepprd with SSO not authorized: Authentication failed.

Any help greatly appreicated. Thanks.

Hello -

This message says it was answered but I do not see an answer or a solution. We have the same problem, same error message when broadcasting but it happens on and off for no apparent reason. In many cases, the only thing that allows the broadcasts to start sending again is a complete shut down and restart of the entire system.

If there was a solution provided, could you please share?

Hello Ms. Paese,

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the Portal!

Please ask BASIS to run the BI diagnostic tool as per OSS note 937697 and make sure all the entires are green.

This error usually happens when the BI ABAP to Java connections is broke.

Hi Anne,

Its basically a single sign on error that you are getting. Check with the basis team whether your authorizations are correct. Check whether the SSO tickets are assigned correctly or not. Only the Basis guys can help you out of this.
