Current Cost Estimate is not updated after CK24

Hi!

While I am running CK24, Current Cost Estimate is not updated in Material Master in Costing-2 Tab, while the same is updated in Future Cost Estimate.

Fiscal year variant is V3, and mm Current period open is 12/2007 & 01/2008. I am doing posting on 05.03.08.

Hi,

After running the CK11n you are doing the transaction run in CK24 to release the cost for the material.

in this transaction you are need to do 2 steps,one is mark the material for the period say in your case you have to mark for 12/2007 & 01/2008 th period against the company code.once you marked for the period you may find the green signal there.

Then you may find the release button in the menu bar,click that & excute the system will shows it is succesfuuly released.

Now check in costing tab2 in material master it will showe the current 12/07 cost also 01/08 future cost also.

You may complete the entire process in CK40N also.

I think you have done only marking in CK24. Please click on marking tab on tool bar, then release button will appear, then execute CK24.
