Issue while taking print of Sales Invoice

Hi,

Urgent.!!!

I am facing issue in invoice(VF03) smartforms, while doing print preview it is working fine but while taking print or while execute with VF31 then it is not working fine.

Actually one footer window is there in my smartform and there is one text module, in that text module some text are there and we want to hide some text as per the region, so for that purpose there is one secondary window which hide that text, and in that window conditions are maintained based on region but while taking print from vf03 or vf31 the hidden text is printing and while doing print preview its get hide.

why its is behaving differently, i have debug the program and for both all the cases conditions are satisfying but still it is behaving differently.

Please guide or suggest...

Hi,

I suppose the reason of the issue is the used device type. Can you please check whether SAP note 77976 describes the reason for your problem?

If you use a Postscript device type or device type SAPWIN, all boxes are not transparent.
In the print preview does not show this problem, because also in the print preview all boxes are transparent.

Which device type do you use for the print?

Probably, you need to take the help of your ABAP team as I feel, the customized smartform has some code validation which is causing the issue.

I am from the ABAP team only. I have checked all the validations but not able to understand why system is behaving differently for the same thing.

Whenever you add any additional information to your original post, please do so under "Comment" and not "Answer" as you were not answering to query but providing additional information required by the members. Please try to debug and see what is the display/hide condition value of the window in smartforms?

Is there any differences between display/hide condition value of VF31 and VF03?
