Reports after migration from BPC 7.5 to BPC 10

Hi,

Could you please advise me on using EVDRE reports in BPC 10 NW.

One of our client is very familiar with EVDRE reports and they want to use these reports in BPC 10 NW.

Is there any harm in using EVDRE reports and what are the major pros and cons of this.

Could you help me with any documents or notes available in this regard.

CONS:

• EVDRE will no longer function starting in BPC 11.
• EPM reports should be faster.
• EVDRE will not be supported by SAP starting around year 2020 or something.

Customers should make the effort to try to get users to EPM reports. I know that DRE had some cool flexibility that sometimes is hard to duplicate in EPM, but there's always a way.

I have no experience with BPC 11 standard, but can you provide some link to proof that EVDRE is not supported? To my mind it's strange in case of migration from 7.5 to 11. And EVDRE is more client engine then server...

EVDRE reports in BPC 10x are not optimized for performance!

Start recreating reports using native epm reports.
