Desiging Access Sequence for Pricing, VKP5 in Retail

Hi, hope someone could help with the below:

1) For PIPE transaction code, is it possible to notify user whenever there is an error of transaction?

2) In terms of pricing, it is always possible to define new condition tables and access sequence from SD perspective. However, is it necessary that the fields use in access sequence must exist in VKP5?

If I define access sequence where the fields does not exist in VKP5, is there any workaround please?

I have a requirement to design the pricing for a telco provider who sell mobile phone together with its network. For example, they can sell to consumer or enterprise customer who may sign up different service plan. Initially I thought from SD perspective to design a new access sequence like "Sales org/Dist channel/Customer group/service plan (need to look for a field to represent this). However, when comes to VKP5 in retail, am stuck and not sure how this can be done.

Hi,

VKP5, uses Pricing Schema to calculate the price. Pricing shema has conditions which use access sequence and Condition tables. So what ever is being displyed in VKP5 is actually coming from Acess sequence and condition tables defined.

Incase you want to add more feilds in VKP5 you can use List Variants. You can add the feild you want and the same will be displayed in VKP5.

What if we using fields in new condition table defined where it does not exist in vkp5?

For example, standard vkp5 screen does not have the field "customer group" and my access seq is like:

sales org/dist chl/cust grp/price list ?

Hi,

You cant define access sequence in VKP5 since it is automatice price flow from basic purchase price of vendor, moreover No access sequence for determining Sales Price in VKP5.

In Standard R\3, their is no access sequence for automatice price, likewise in VKP5.

Path in SAP Library:- Retail --> Strategic Sales --> Pricing

Oh, I actually don't mean defining access sequence in VKP5.

What I have in mind is define a new condition type, a new condition tables with fields such as "Sales org/Dist chl/Customer group/Price List", for instance.

But in VKP5, there is no customer group. So in this case, I guess is a 'No' for me to use such condition table right?

Hi,

You can use own table and condition type.

Assign in following Path

IMG -> Logistics - General -> Retail Pricing -> Sales Price Calculation -> Control Data for Pricing Table and Data Backup
