SAP PO NW BPM - Catching exception on receiver adapter

Hi,

I am implementing NW BPM, during the process i am making a asynchronous call to REST service. I want to be able to handle any errors on the REST receiver in the BPM and write the message to error file and notify user.

BPM does not seem to be able to catch these type of communicaiton errors and i searched many blogs and articles but do not seem to find any solution.

Please let me know if this is possible.
