SSO for 3 Active Directories for EPM add in for NW BPC

Hi All,

We have BPC10.1 and NW 7.5 System with EPM for MS excel. We are looking to configure Single sign on for 3 different Active Directories.

1) Is it possible to configure SSO for EPM for 3 different AD.

2) Is it possible to configure SSO directly using Kerberos for EPM or do we need any Portal system in between NW and EPM.

Yes, this is possible using Kerberos - no need for portal.

You need to buy a licensed product from a SAP partner or from SAP (e.g. SAP SSO product).

Disclaimer: I work for a SAP partner that has such a product 🙂

The Kerberos protocol can be used to authenticate when the user opens Excel and connects to BPC 10.1 and no need to enter any credentials. The authentication will be based on which domain user they have logged onto the workstation with.

Thanks TIm for reply,

We have 3 different Network domains and one single abap BW system with BPC. So as per my understanding from your previously reply we can configure SSO using Kerberos(AD) method for all 3 domains using single SSO for one SAP BW system. Please correct me if i have understood wrong.

Can you help me with some document on how to configure on multiple AD on different domains using one SSO.

Yes, correct. As mentioned you need to buy a licensed product, either from a SAP partner or from SAP themselves.
