When I launch the Translation Management Tool from my desktop it prompts for my user identification to connect to the BI Platform; but when I enter my credentials and click OK it fails with the error:
com/businessobjects/bcm/BCM : cannot initialize class because prior initialization attempt failed
When I acknowledge the error it returns me to the login prompt. If I try again it throws the same error so I hit Cancel and the application closes.
We are on BI Platform 4.2 SP4 Patch 2. None of the other client tools installed on my desktop (IDT, WebI Rich Client) has any problems. Any help on what might be the cause of the error?Thanks

Is that the full error message or is there more (like java stack etc ) ??
