Dear Team/Mani,

I came up with question its regarding BusinessObject Session count when scheduling the webi reports.

Example: I have 10 concurrent Licenses for SAP BusinessObjects 4.2 SP 4 Patch 3, User logged in (BO Launch Pad) and scheduled (Unique) 20 reports an every 1 minute, Just assume that each report execution time will be 30 Seconds to 1 minute.

Question : Is there any session will be open for each Instance/Scheduling in Businessobjects ? Whether it will consume all the concurrent Licenses?

I can see in CMC there is no session is opened during execution, Which means scheduling or instance it will not consume the licensees is this correct ?

Thanks, NV

Just i need to confirm from expert 🙂 .

Meaning that BO Webi scheduling or instances will not consume the licensees.

Thank you

license is consumed when user logs in to do something, when schedule is running - no one is logged in, so there is no license involved.

yes. you are right. !!!

If sessions count is not increasing in CMC then it will not consume the licensees.

License will be counted for the sessions not for the no of instances (scheduling) from the user.
