Physical sample fails when valuation is Rejected for single results Quantitative chars

Hi,

I am getting physical samples rejection for single result quantitative MIC when valuation is Rejected.

I am putting usage decision as ‘A’ Accepted but physical sample valuation shows as rejected.

Is there any possibilities, Even char valuation rejected, Physical sample should Accepted??

Even char valuation code Rejected ‘R’ the physical sample should show as Accepted ‘A’.

Please let me know is there any settings required behind this.

You probably have automatic sample valuation set on in configuration for inspection point field combination 200 - Inspection point for physical samples. In here you define sample valuation codes to be used.

In the operation header you have defined that samples be automatically defined.

You have two options:

Option 1 - removed the code for rejection in the configuration. Then whenever a characteristic fails, no code will be defined and users will have to manually valuate the sample.

Option 2: Turn off the automatic valuation in the operation header. That will require all samples to be manually valuated by the user.
