DOT net integration need userID , password, iview in the portalURL directly

Hi, we have a portal server for KM/ESS. This needs to be integrated into DOT NET. One of the DOT NET application needs to retrive some information from portal with directl URL access. I would like to specify the username/password and the iview so that the output can be fed to DOT net directly

Is it possible?. Has anyone done this before?

Hello,

Could you pl elaborate a little more about the requirement. From the brief which you have mentioned it seems that you need to call a .net application from within the portal.

If that is so then you can create a url iview and also mention the user name and password there. Apologies if I have misunderstood the question.

INSIDE DOT NET application I need to integrate one iview of SAP ESS application

So When I make a call form DOT NET to SAP j2ee, what is the shortcut to SAP j2ee? I mean how do I specify the userid, password and iview name

example, my SAP portal URL is http://portal.emc.com/irj/portal

username=hrdata

password=something

iview=empInformation

Now how do I access this information which one shortcut URL?.
