Budget management in PS-PM

Dear experts,

I define the bugdet at WBS level, so that when I create a project-based maintanence order, the planned cost should be against the budget at WBS element level. When I used the "reservation for order" for material requirements in the order, the planned cost of the materials will be considered. But, when I used the project stock to create a "reservation for WBS element ", the planned cost of the materials will be ignored. I tested the "reservation for WBS element " in the WBS directly, there's the same result.

Would you please help to test it in your sandbox? I am not sure what's wrong. I am looking forward to your reply.

Hi,

The project stock material may be having the different valuation class & Cost element assigned to it.

I think you may not maintain the setting in config for the Valuation category,assignment of costelement t valuation category & assign valuation category in the IMG,so that the system will not consider your plan cost of the material.

So check the config in IMG whether you have define the costelement & valuation category for the project stock item.

Check the setting in SPRO-Project SystemCosts--Value Categories.

Check this also but when you try to do the posting for your reservation the system will post the actual,that time the system will consider for your budget.

So check both.
