am not able to do delivery getting Error No Delivery-relevant items in order 8188, order type RO.

Just check RO is a rush order where the delivery will be done automatically as soon as you save the order
just goto VA02 and enter the sales order number and check the document flow

thanks for input , as you said RO will create automatically delivery while creating order its true , in my case it has not happened so i was doing delivery in vl01n so i got error .as per document flow are rush order --> completed , Delivery 8011325 is open so kindly suggest what to do .

Thanks its done Picking and PGI Missing ,but as per rule while creating RO delivery cretes automatically which is not happening in my case so i checked VTLF and its maintained there what to do so that delivery creates automatically while creating rush order.

Rush order creates immediate delivery means up on saving the order the delivery document is created automatically
No need to go to VL01N for creating
Only Delivery creation is automatic Other things like Picking,Packing,PGI and saving has to be done manually
You need to manually fill the picking tab and do PGI and save
This system will not do
Hope this clarifies
After you fill the picked qty and done PGI you can bill it

Hi Mukesh,
Go to Sales Order Type "RO" in VOV8 transaction and enter "X" in the Field "Immediate delivery". This is enough to create Delivery at the background while you create and save the Sales Order.
Then you can go to VA02 - Sales Order Change mode and check the document flow, where you can find the Delivery Number.
Then go to VL02N transaction and enter that Delivery Number. Now do Picking and PGI. This will solve your issue.

Thanks for your input , as you said i agree that delivery creates in background while saving document but in my case when am saving am getting message order is saved but delivery not created for that i checked all the parameters in vov8 immediate delivery is checked , in VTLF copy control is maintained , in ovl2, ovl3 is maintained as 10 shipping condition but still am getting error . kindly help

Go to VOV8 and choose sales document type RO
Delivery type is [LF]
Shipping conditions is [10]
Immediately delivery [X] in shipping tab
Delivery related billing [F2]
Order related billing [F2] in billing tab
in VOV8 for u r order type RO in the shipping coloumn check whether the box is filled as X or not for field "IMMEDIATE DELIVERY" as "X"
shipping condition as 10
maintain immediate delivery as X

If you are getting the message of rush order saved order no say xxxxx delivery not created
Then go to the order in VA02 mode and see whether the quantities are confirmed
Schedule lines may not have been confirmed
Rush order undergoes availability check with the checking group defined in MMR and checking rule as B that is SD delivery in the sales order itself
You can put the sales order in VA02 and then perform an availability check and see what is the keys are maintained in scope of check
Make sure that in OVZ9 that you have defined controls for Checking rule as B and checking group of yours
This is apart from all the suggestions given by all
All the suggestions given by all have to be maintained
Please make sure that you have maintained OVL2 settings and according to me no need to maintain shipping conditions in order type as the same will be taken from sold to party
Hi Mukesh There is no need to maintain shipping conditions i order type for Rush order
For rush order we can maintainin CMR and system will take it from there
For cash sales we maintain it in order type
The reason is cash sales are mostly done with one time account group customers and in their customer master we dont maintain shipping conditions and we maintain in order type
Rush sales happens with regular customers
If shipping conditions are mainataines at both order type and customer mastert Then what is maintained in order type will have the preference
In your case i think both being different hence there is a confusion for the system for shipping point determination

The message means no items due for delivery were found for that order. Check the order itself - could be delivery was already done previously, or other settings on the order could be involved (delivery blocks, item category not relevant for delivery, delivery date not yet due..
