Inventory Upload of IM & WM stocks

Hi All

We are upgrading from 4.6 to ECC , We have to upload IM & WM stocks with value , do we have to do seperate uploads for IM & WM.

Pl also provide me download / upload procedures if any for IM & WM

It is possible to load inventory in IM and WM at once, but this may be restricted based on complexity of your warehouse setup.

The load is usually done with 561 movement type. And it is possible to allow storage type and storage bin as optional fields in IM movement. so you can directly post to the desired bin in WM.

You just need to make sure that you dont create extra transfer requirements if you use this way.

A standard download report for IM or WM stocks is not available. WM is pretty easy, you just need to download table LQUA. Make sure you have no stocks in interim storage types.

For IM you can probably use MB52 to list and download
