Transfer of exchange rates

Hello,

I want to transfer éxchange rates from an ERP to a BW-System. The BW-system shall be the initiating system.

As I know, for that purposes a function "Transfer exchange rates" can be used in the SAP-BW, after selecting the connected source system (ERP).

Now, I want to automate this process. Is it possible to define a job with a relating variant to do that? Where can I do that? Can someone describe it detailled? I am a beginner and have currently no access to a BW-system.

Hi,

for initai u can do sourcesytemrightclick- transfer global settings

for the daily one u shold execute teh following abapprogrames through process chains

RSIMPCURR--- for exchange rates

RSIMPCUST--- for global currencies and unit of measures details.

Hi,

It is possiable to automate this option. You need to daily schedule a program which would get the excahnge rates from the R3 to BW. The program name is: RSIMPCURR.

Just Go to rsa1 & say execute in background annd schedule it.
