Hello Gurus,
I have the following process.
1) I make a sales order to client's consignment with transaction VA01.
2) I deliver the stock with transaction VL01N so that the stock is moved automatically from "consignment stock" (from my storage location) to "unrestricted use" stock in client (move type 631).
Then, it comes up my problem. There is a big distance between my storage location and client's one, so that, could be possible that the stock is actually travelling and no physically in the clients stores although for the system is IN as "unrestricted use" stock.
My question is... is there any possibility to distinguish that stock which is actually travelling from that one that is physically at the storage location? any chance to customize a movement type so that instead going to "unrestricted use" the stock goes to any other type until it is physically at the storage location?
Thank you in advance and please do not hesitate to contact me in case you need some additional info.
Best regards,
Miguel

Hello Sachim,
I am aware of T-codes MMBE and MB52 and that is exactly what I check in order to know what kind of stocks I have. The problem is to make any difference in my process to get the stock which is travelling and not in the storage location yet reflected in those transactions.
Thanks and kind regards,
Miguel
Hi Raja,
I have checked that t-code and i dont see the way i can know how much of my stock is still in the way and how much is already physically at the storage location as everything is under "unrestricted use" stock name. Anyways my client would like to make it from MMBE.
Any suggestion? Thanks so much and regards,
Miguel
In fact, it is a major drawback in consignment process where you cannot track the "Quantity in Transit" with 631 movement type.
Perhaps, you can try copying 631 movement type in OMJJ and assign that movement type to your schedule line category in VOV6.
Next as and when fillup delivery is posted, the respective quantity should be blocked for consignment posting and can be transferred via a zee transaction to Cust.Consignment.
But this is not an easy task to achieve as lot of configurations involved in this and in fact, I am not sure, whether this can be achieved.
On the other hand, if you are so particular about "Stock in Transit", what I suggest is that you treat the warehouse as a plant and stock transfer via 641 movement type to warehouse, so that you can monitor stock in transit at any point of time. Once the receiving plant do MIGO, quantity that you see "Stock in Transit" will get reduced and increase in the warehouse stock which is your special stock.
thanks

Hi there again,
When you click on the amount of the stock for the "unrestricted use" column (stock details), the system displays 3 types of stocks t-code MMBE. Does any know how to customize the system so that instead going to "Unrestricted use" the stock goes to "restricted-use" or "Qual. inspection"?
Thanks and regards,
Miguel

Hi,
You can try with MM consultant to make the stock as STOCK IN TRANSIT like 641 and 642 movement type
that used in the STO scenario.

Once you move the stock from your storage location to customer warehouse via movement type 631, the respective quantity will automatically show as "Cust.Consignment". If you double click the quantity, it will show the split up of special stock partners. Though you can see under the tab "Unrestricted", this special stock cannot be diverted to any other customer.
thanks

Dear G. Lakshmipathi,
Thanks for your quick answer.
You are right that stock is moved into customer consignment but my problem is still unsolved, as I can not know certanly how much of it is in the way and how much is already physically at the storage location.
Any other advise?
Kind regards,
Miguel
