Sales area Vs Sales document type

Hi Friends,

Even after deleting the sales document assignment to sales area I am not able to use the same document type for the particular sales area.....can any1 suggest why ?.........how to make use of the same doc type?.........

Read this statement of yours

You have deleted means you cannot use it

System is perfectly right

Whatever settings is maintained in OVAZ that is assigning sales doc type to sales area will work

If you want to use a particular doc type to a sales area maintain OVAZ settings and dont delete it

I feel that your issue is something else and that your qn was mistakenly drafted

If so put the correct requirement

First to use any sales document for a particular sales area you have to assign to that sales area in

OVAZ to sales organizationdistribution channeldivision to your SALES order type.

I think u have created a new sales doc type without copying it from standard OR

can u tell what error message u r getting at the time of creating sales order

Also check is it a sales order, contract or scheduling agreement

Hi

Donot delete the assignment. The sales document type is considered valid for that particular sales area, only based on this assignment of sales document type and sales area.

Hello,

you could use the functionality of common sales area for distribution channels and division. assign a sales areawith common distribution channel and division and then assign the document type to this common reference sales area. then you can use the document for multilple sales area

else you can assign the document type to multiple sales areas
