Problem when object is transferred to Production

Dear All,

I have added two text elements to a report and have transported it from Development to Quality and then to Production. The previous version of the object is present in Production. In version management i can see the request transported to Production but the changes are not transported. Its only when the program is generated in Production the changes become effective.

What could be the reason? How to correct it ?
