Pl Explain about the Account Assignment in Gl Level.What is the use of account assignment.

During the normal course of business we need to make some frequent entries in the system. For this SAP has provided some convenient tools like recurring entry, sample document and account assignment model
In Account assignment model, you can enter a sample data and store it so that in future you can call it in transaction and post it. So you dont have to enter it again and again. It is limited to general ledger accounts.
It can contain any number of line items and the same can be added or deleted during posting. It is flexible, the fields can be changed at entry level, multiple a/c assignments can be made use of in one document
You can also use distribution feature, by using equivalence numbers, wherein you enter the total amount and the system will distribute based on set ratios or percentages

it is template if u want to post any transactions before that u can copy from account assignment model and post it.
