Storage Location Issue...

Hi Gurus...

I am unable to create PGI...below is the error i am facing..

The storage location is not defined for delivery item 000010

Could you all plz help me..

Hi Shri

Just to add , also check with what storage location you have created that material Secondly also check in OVLP, wheatehr the item category is relevant for picking or not

When you do a delivery process be careful with certain process that you are bound to carry out.(storage location, picking qty, serial nos, batch, valuation type..) This is a part of it The storage location does not appear automatically. we will have to enter it manually.

Click on the "Picking" tab Enter the storage location, enter picking quantity and press enter Then Proceed with PGI.

Note: if you have multiplt storage location choose accordingly based on stock availability of the material.

Hi

storage location will be directly picked in the delivery doc type provided you have maintained the above settings

1. In t code OVLK you need to check whetehr thre Rule MALA is assigned to your delivery type

(it will be greyed out there)

2. If assigned then maintain OVL3 settings

3. If not assigned if blank is maintained in OVLK then i t code OVLQ you can assign rule MALA to your delivery type which will be reflected then in OVLK

and then maintain OVL3 settings

From next time onwards it will be automatically picked up

Or manually as the other friend has suggested can be input in the delivery document

Go to VL01N / VL02N and select "Picking" tab. Underneath you can see tabs like Material, Plant etc., where you can also see SLoc. Maintain the required storage location here and do PGI.
