Hi

the system could not start. system shows red in colour.

when system started shows hte following problem.

process description status

sapcpe.exe exacutable copy could not start

strdbs.cmd database could not start

dispt +work.exe dispatcher could not start

how solve the aove problem ?

Hi,

Please check the following:

1. Check all the services.

2. Check for syslog in MMC.

3. Check for applicationlog, system log in even viewer.

4. Check alert<SID>.log

5. Check memory.

6. Check all the environment variables.

7. Check all the executables.

8. Stderr0,1,2 7 & 8 files are available in \usr\sa\p\<SID>\DVEBMGS\work directory

9. Any changes in profile parameters.

10. Check n/w connective between CI/DB.

11. Kernal executable corrupted.

The above are the startup problems, hope this will give you some idea....

Hi Satish,

Is it happening after kernel upgradation? If it is just make sure that kernel is supported or not.

If not check the sap services are up or not? and try to start your database manually and revert with output.

Hi,

Did you check if the services (SAP and DB) are running, did it got enough free space, See the default and start profile files are accessible which was at OS level, and no changes are done to them recently, chk with backup file if u had.

Paste the log here.
