We have one requirement of 100 hours and production lead time sheduled in MRP is 6 days ,Now we know that on each day 18 hours are available as operating time then still system is distributing capacity as 16.77 hour for each day.My question is why system is not taking full operating time for capacity distribution? It should show distribution like 18 hr for 1 day ,18 hr for 2 ,18 for 3 ,18 hr for 4, 18 hr for 5 day and rest 10 hr for last 6 day.
Hi,Mahesh:
I also get the same problem..can you tell me how to solve it?thanks..

Hi,
Check this:
In Work center, Capacity header, check if Capacity utilization = 100. If the value is less than 100, you will get a decrease in value of available hours.

Dear,
Please check the shift sequence you have assigned to the work center capacity details tap.
Check the break time there.
If you are not using shift sequence then you need to You need to maintain shift grouping details using transaction "OP4A" to use them in the workcenter as per your requirement then system will take capacity as 18 hrs per day as per shift sequence you defined for day.

I understand that break time and capacity utilization maintained in work center will effect available hours for work center but for consuming that available hours fully what is the solution ?because system is showing less hours consumed than available for each day?System should consume each days capacity fully then should go for second day and so on.Why it is equally distibuting 16.77 hrs for each day because then 1.23 hrs are remaining for each?
Dear,
I think 1.23 hrs is your break time so actual available capacity is 16.77 Hrs.(18 -1.23 = 16.77 Hrs) If you want to use 18 hrs as available capacity then remove break time or increase capacity utilization rate % or actual work time as time as 19.23 hrs then system will take actual capacity as 18 hrs
Hope clear to you.
Please try this and come back.
