How to manage specific customer block types on C4C?

Dear experts,

currently we're facing the following situation: we have some customers blocked for Sales, which means that no Sales order could be created for them. This type of block comes from SAP ECC, and leads to the status "Obsolete" on those customers. However, we would like to have the possibility to create Visits, Appointments, Tasks, and every other C4C activity on them.

Do you know how to manage these cases?

Thanks & Best regards

Hello Valentina, Andrea,

If possible, I would recommend that for Sales bloking, another approach should be set (not setting the customer as obsolete or blocked), but using the Order Block standard field and mapping the values with the ERP values.

In this case, a blocking reason would be sent by ERP and then C4C would prevent the creation of Sales Orders for that Account (what you seem to be looking for) but allow creation of other transactional data: appointments, visits etc.

Kind regards,

Carina.

Thanks to all. In the end, the problem was the fact that we managed a mapping between ERP/C4C values for customer blocks, but we forgot to manage "Sales Document Order block Assignment".

Dear Ankush Pashine,

thank you for your answer.

I'm a Valentina's colleague.

Unfortunately, although the customer is blocked, the system doesn't allow me to create an appointment or any other activity, as you can see in the picture below.

Can you kindly help me?

Thank you again.

Regards.

Hello Valentina,

Currently C4C also shows the Blocked Account, hence you can follow below steps.

1.Go to Activities work center->Go to any activities for e.g. Go to Appointment view ->Click on 'New Appointment'->In the New Appointment screen, click value help of Account ->All Account->Show Advance Filter ->under Status field select status as 'Blocked' and click Go.

=>You will be able to select blocked account and further create Appointment for it.

Do set post as answered if this helps !

Best Regards,

Ankush Pashine.
