New server

We are switching to a new server. How do I direct all my reports to new server location?

Can it be done on 'business objects enterprise central management console'? Can it be done globally, Instead of pointing my entire report template to a new server location and then republish them?

Thanks.

    Hi Chris,

Using import wizard we need to import the reports from one server to another server.

But using import wizard we need to enable all the options if we are importing it freshly, but when are placing only few folders the we need to import the users, user groups and user rights for the reports.

Also we need to update the repository objects, user id's,objects id's and all the properties of the reports.

So, if try to import them then some times it creates duplicate an some reports will be renamed and all the reports CUID's will be generated again.

It is a better option to go with.

    Regards,

    Naveen.

    Hi

You can use the Import Wizard to migrate your reports to the new server.

Please refer to the Import Wizard guide for details.

You can download it for the required BOXI version from help.sap.com

    Hope this helps!!

    Regards
