Windows update KB4025336

Hello ,

In July 2017, we received information that the Windows update KB4025336 created a conflict with SAP and we were advised not to install it.

Now can you say me if this precaution is still relevant for B1 9.3

Hello Laurence Luxembourger,

I found one of the SAP note which talking about installing the patch is as below. This note is for version 4.2 business object.

2524758 - Adaptive Processing Server hosting the DSL Bridge service restarts frequently

This patch fixes the memory issues on the server (As per Microsoft) and more information can be found at :

Hello Laurence,

I am not aware of any problems with KB4025336 for SAP NetWeaver based system, but I cannot speak for B1. But I assume, if you have patched your Windows systems since then every month, this KB patch is meanwhile included?

If you want to be sure, then open a ticket to the B1 colleagues if there are still problems with this patch. From what I see in many blogs from Microsoft this fix caused some problems mit WSUS, their Windows Update Server.
