PO Creation and Change Authorisation

Hi

The scenario is,

User 1 - Can create PO , change Po and display PO

User 2 - Can create PO and display PO only

Why becoz PO ammenment shld be done by User 1 only like Price and qty changes, So we hv removed the change Po autho to User 2.

It create a pblm of User cant do any change in Po by me22n. Its not actually we want.

So we are thinking to control User 2 autho by they can create Po, change PO and release PO.

After final release User 2 shold be restriced to change the PO but user 1 can change the PO

How to control this?

Hi

You can ask Basis person to restrict the transaction code authorization (hope S_Tcode) at start of transaction. Here you can define two roles - one permits all three transactions and other only two ME21n and ME23n.

But my req is, he can hv the me22n trans to change / edit PO BEFORE release. But after release of PO user 2 shold not autho to change the PO but User 1 can change the PO.

Here User 1 is Procurement Head and User 2 is Procurement Team member for examble.

Hi,

Kindly ask the basis team to create a new AG with the object to change released PO. The same object should be removed from the change PO ag. Assign the new AG to user1 and not to user 2. Now user 1 can change the PO both pre and post release whereas user 2 can change po only pre-release.

Hi Vijay,

We solved this kind of issue with help of Transaction variants. We blocked all the screens and fields except the release in ME29N.

So, when user is releasing the PO, he can have access to only release access and no access to other fields.
