Hello Gurus,

How can we hide the detailed navigation panel.

I have tried all the steps like setting the "Initial state of navigation panel" etc to close but still the detailed panel is visible.

Could you please suggest the steps to hide this panel.

Thanks in Advance.

Awaiting reply,

Regards,

Hi,

Try following the below steps.

1) Copy the default frame work page.

2) Opent the copied default framework page.

2) Open the desktop Inner page within this copied default framework page.

3) Delete all iviews except Content Area iview.

4) Use this framework page in desktop.

Hi,

You would have to edit the framework page for that.

Check if you using the default framework page or a copy of it. If you are using the former, it would be under PCD-Portal Content-End user content-standard portal users-default framework page-right click and open there at the bottom you find desktop inner page, check on the left side and click open

and you would find the detailed navigation as visible, unselect it and save and you are good to go.

PS : SAP always recommends to make a copy of default framework page.

Cheers!

Hello Sandeep,

I have already tried that and set the properties of the Detailed navigation iview to "Close".

Also even removed the iView from the Default Framework page, but nothing worked out.

Am still getting the Detailed navigation panel.

Hi Ramalakhsmi,

Check the page layout, it might have been set to navigation panel and content area, you might want to try changing that to 1 column.

Good Luck!
