COPYING OF INSPECTION RESULTS PROBLEM

DEAR GURUS,

I HAVE DONE ALL SETTINGS FOR COPYING INSPECTION RESULTS.

1) ACTIVATE EA-PLM EXTENTION SETTINGS

THEN I GOTO MAKE SETTINGS FOR COPY OF INSPECTION RESULTS,

WHERE I HAVE DEFINED THE INSPECTION TYPE MY CASE

2) 04- INSPECTION TYPE,PLANT, IN -->CONTOL INSP.LOT.COL AS MANAUL AND AUTOMATIC TRANSFER.

3) CONTROL IN RESULT RECORDING.COL AS MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC TRANSFER AND ALSO IN THE

I4) IN THE ORIG INTL.COL I HAVE MAINTAINED 02(PREVIOUS INSPECTION LOT)

AND DATA ORIGIN RR.COL ALSO I HAVE 02(PREVIOUS INSPECTION LOT)

THEN I HAVE GONE IN THE INSPECTION PLAN IN GENERAL CHARACTERISTIC DATA.IN WHICH I HAVE GONE AND MAINTAINED IN

ORIGIN OF RESULTS AS PREVIOUS IN INSPECTION LOT

THEN I HAVE CREATED NEW INSPECTION LOTS DONE RESULT RECORDING FOR AN INSPECTION LOT,FOR THE NEXT INSPECTION LOT,WHEN CLICK ON THE RESULTS ICON.. I AM NOT GETTING THE POP UP SCREEN OF ICOPY INSPECTION LOT-->FOR COPYING OF INSPECTION RESULTS OF THE PREVIOUS INSPECTION LOT.

IS THERE ANY MORE SETTING I AM MISSING

Hello Ram,

Check in customizing settings for copy of inspection results what setting u have maintained in SELECTION column.In this column maintain 300(Custom selection of inspection lot).Your problem might be solved.

Thanks my problem has been solved.

i just forgot maintain selection in customizing.although had screen shot of this...

now i think i will be able copy for 04 also.keep you posted

Dear Nehal,

I have maintained all settings you have mentioned in the link.

Yet i have not been able to get copy inspection result pop screen.

i have maintained 01, manual and automatic data transfer plus i have maintained 02 in origin tl and in data orig RR.

Note : i want to copy inspection result for inspection type 04 and i have not maintained inspection points

what must be problem.

Hi rajkumar

Setting what you have done is perfecly ok.

Bo I think manual trnsfer will help you in this case as

(To manually start the copy inspection results function, choose Edit -> Copy Inspection Results after sample calculation, when changing inspection lots, or in results recording.

If you have set the indicator Immediate Log Output in Customizing, the transfer log for the data transfer is output and can be displayed immediately. To display the log, choose Extras Display Transfer Log.)

Note that automatic data transfer after sample calculation is not supported for inspection lots with partial lots and for inspection lots with inspection points except for the origins 14, 15 and 16. In addition the automatic defects recording is not executed in this case.

A data transfer with manual start of the copy inspection results function for inspection lots with inspection points is only possible if the inspection points already exist on the database.

Automatic inspection point valuation is not supported for both manual and automatic starts of the copy inspection results function.

Dear Sujit,

I only want to copy inspection results of the previous inspection lot only and there inpection points maintained in the inspection plan..

In IMG i have maintained the tick in LOG Col.i.e.indicator Immediate Log Output in Customizing,

but when do result recording select the operation for which i want do result Recording i am not getting the pop screen..Inspection lot selection from where we select required inspection lot by F4.

Instead i am getting Display log pop up showing RED Error-sign,with problem class as very important and

When i double click it..it shows ERROR--> No active Implementation exists for BADI QEC_SELECTION,procedure.

What i am doing wrong for not getting the pop screen for copy of inspection results.

Hi

I think you should get message of trasfering inspection results to other lot immediatly when sample size is calculated in the creation of inspection lot.

and one more thing if you are using inspection points then transfer of results is not possible.( except in lot origine 14,15,16) as you are working in 04 inspection type this is not possible.

so either you have to do following or remove inspection point

If the transfer after the sample calculation fails because the system could not find a source object, you can trigger the copying of inspection results when you are changing the inspection lot.

The following Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) are available:

· Selection of results data for copy inspection results function (QEC_SELECTION)

· Data mapping for copy inspection results function (QEC_MAPPING)

Dear Sujit,

I have not maintained inspection points,but i have maintained 04 inspection type, in the settings of copy inspection results,can i change this 01 or can i change it Manual and automatic data transfer to manual start of data transfer. will then i be able to get pop screen for select inspection lot from where i can copy results of previous lots.

You can do one thing ...

for trial Maintain 01 inspe type create task list for 01 type

do not maintain Inspection point.

now assign Manual and automatic data transfer for Lot

Now create a manual lot of 01,while sample determination it will ask for Tranfer of Results from prior lots(with pop-up)

or

If you are doing it for copy results during result recording itself then....in QE51N it will show popup for result transfer.

I want to copy result for 04 inspection type and also note i have not maintained any inspections points for this task list,i have also maintain the settings required for copying inspection results in task listi.e previous inspection lot...but i have not be able get that pop screen for copying inspection results.

What must be the problem.

Hi

Have you tried out with 01 inspecton type.

First check with 01 as i suggested.I have tried it on testing server it is also working fine for 04 type.

Dear Sujit,

I have tried for 01 inspection type.

I have maintained previous lot for the MICs of the inspection plan of the material.

then i have created a P.O,released the P.O,then did MIGO,an inspection lot is generated.

i did result recording for this inspection lot.

then i created a P.O again and released it and did MIGO,an inspection lot was generated.

now when click on the result tab,i do not get the POP screen for copying inspection lot.

what i am i doing wrong
