Hi all,
I have a problem in J2iun. after entering all values and when press the simulation button it is showing the correct entries. but after that when i press enter and try to save on save button there is error message given that:
Error in FI posting 20090320
Message no. 8I280.
I have checked the periods in ob52 and it was open from 12 2007 to 12 2008. And i checked the message for more details, but it was not giving any details through se91.
Please tell me the possible ways to post the document. we are using ECC6.0 version.

HI,
The error is encountered only when the current fiscal period is not open
for the system to create an accounting document. Please ensure that the
current MM & FI period are open before you post J2IUN.

Check your FI posting periods, based on your query fiscal year 2009 is not yet open. You can open this through S_ARL_87003642.
Indicate the required posting period. Give feedback if solved.

Hi all,
I checked the mm period in omsy and it was open. but i tried feb utilization in this period and mentioned that fortnightly payment date 07.02.2009.
I am getting the following message:
Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled
Message no. GLT2201 (I was checked this is not marked for self explenatory in the messages)
Diagnosis
The field Profit Center marked as balancing is not filled with any val
in line item 001, even after document splitting.
System Response
The document cannot be posted.
Procedure
First check your entries.
Additional causes could be:
o No value can be derived for this field from the current document.
