Workflow Not Triggred

Hi,

We have a case, for one of the PO, system have not triggered the workflow for it inspite of release stategy been trigged in production server.

I have mak one more PO in quality server with same data here it triggered, can any one tell it is possible to trigger the workflow agian for that PO. How we can do that??

Hi,

There could be so Many Reasons for WF not Triggering..:-)

1> Check the RFC Settings in SWU3

2> Check the Quality and Production server settings with the Basis Team

3> Check the Event Bindings with the WF in the Prod Client

Hi Kanika,

We have checked the SWU3 setting, No change in the setting, but one question: back ground job for Q process sub node in first node Maintain run time environment is in X status in both server.

what that meen? It dosed seems to be the reason for not to trigger workflow, whats ur comment on it

Hi Dev,

Yes it could be a possibility of WF not Triggering Since WF Triggers in Background.

Try to Activate/Generate that 'X' and if it gives any Error, Kindly Consult the BASIS Team to Resolve that.

The RunTime Environment maintained should have all the Ticks as Green.

Hi Kanika,

User was putting pressure for it so I went bit tricky, asked them to change the PO purchasing gruop once and then again the mak it to old purchasing group. It has trigged.

but it seems those case was becuse of only background processing activation

Hi,

Compare the Functional Configuration (SPRO settings) in QA and PRD.

For re-triggering the Event you can do via T.code SWUE. Refer the 3rd reply in this [Thread|].

Hello,

If you know the key and the event then you could trigger it with SWUE in Production, but it would be better to find out why it didn't start in the first place.

we have checked the thing as MM config also though it cann't be the case but still any thing else you can suggest on it
