Creating .ear file

I follow a document How to perform value mapping - A walkthrough. This is basically how to update value mapping in config using an interface.

I am stuck on Steps for creating a Java Proxy out of an Interface in Repository. I have no problem creating the .jar files from valueMappingReplicationOut message interface. It says then to deploy these jar file. These have to be deployed in J2EE Visual Admin.

I understand that this is something basis do - but they say they need .ear files.

Does anyone know how I can create .ear files?

any deployment for J2EE applications will be a zipped file.(means a single archieve which contains all necessary .class, library, web.xml etc files)

only extension changes according to webserver or application server.

use winzip to make an .ear file.
