Vendor List with Backend Contracts not available as Sourcing in ECS scenari

Dear Friends,

We are working in ECS scenario where in we would like to refer to backend contracts as source of supply in Shopping Cart. So we tried to create vendor list with backend contract.

But such vendor list are not appearing as source of supply while creating shopping cart in Extended Classic scenario.

Does it means that vendor list with backend contracts are applicable for Classic scenario?

is it the standard functionality?

Has anyone come across this business requirement?

Hi Sandeep,

Sunny is correct. it is only for classic scenario.

Yes. There are concerns on vendor list side in SAP SRM.

(i)For even Classic scenario, we could not search the backend contract

from SRM during creation of vendor list.you might have manually typed

a backend contract .

(ii) Local contract also not supported.

i think this business object used for only classic scenario so far since local contract also not supported so far.

in srm 2007 onwards vendor list becomes supplier list. I could see some documentations that we can use vndor list can be used for both scenario Classic and Extened classic scenario as well.

Though i am refering my backend contract as well i need to supply vendor ..this part is inscrutable for me in vendor list

Hello Sandeep.

Unfortunately, the backend contract functionality in Vendor list is only valid for the Classic Scenario.
