Invalid UserID

Hi

I have this invalid user ID when i access remotely to the server. I added it as a local admin... but still no luck!

Could someone give me a hint!

Sorin, Mihaela,

I saw another post about exactly this problem. Apparently it is a known bug! (I mean that is what the post says...)

However, my own opinion is that it is not a bug and not a SAP issue!

What i did to solve this problem was to add the user as a local user on the server... it worked! I have to admit that it is not a brilliant solution but more a temporary one...

I will investigate more into this but thanks for your help...

Hi Hiren Amin,

Do you have more information about this error ?

I 've installed the 7.5 BPC with IIS7 and Windows 2008, and i'm facing the problem " invalid user".

In my case the problem is happenning in the own application server, even when i am working with installation id user ( bpc.sysadmin)

May you help-me ?

It appears to be an incorrect configuration of your network settings. You have to verify if you are able tp physically log on server using the same user account and try to load the BPC launch page.

When you are using remote connection from that location are using proxy to connect to internet?

If the answer is yes then you have to put the SAP BPC server into exceptions of proxy into settings of IE.
