    Hi Priya,

Use Tcode OADB, there select your depreciation are 01 and double click on it.

Go to management of values section

and change the acquisition value setting.

    This will serves your issue.

    Thanks,

    Srinu

go to OADB and select the depreciation area and make All Values Allowed for Net Book Value.

    Hi,

I would not set "all values allowed" for net book value rule.

First of all this rule applies then for ALL - I repeat ALL - assets in all company codes which are assigned to this chart of depreciation. It can have massive impacts on other assets in other company codes which you would get with this change.

As I do not know details about the asset, I can not provide any root cause for your problem. But if you really only have this temporary problem with this particular asset, then you could choose the option "negative values allowed" for this asset in the affected depreciation area. The effect is quite similar as the net book vaule rule change, but definitely restricted on this individual asset! For AuCĀ“s we recommend anyhow to set the "negative values allowed" indicator by default.

    Regards,

    Markus

P.S: I can not repeat often enough to be very very careful with the net book value rule settings on chart of depreciation level. Reality showed me often enough that it may solve one issue, but creates a dozen others.
