Hi All,
Is it possible for the same item code to have multiple MRP procurement methods, based on the Warehouses.
Hi,
Yes it is possible for an item to be MAKE or BUY.An item can be purchased as Raw material and also can be manufactured to be used in the final product. The MRP will raise purchase order for the Raw material item and production oreders for manufacturing items.
Thanks
Mansoor

The procurement method defined by item level and canu2019t be differentiated by warehouse.
You can by or produce the same item, but if you would like to get from MRP a production order for requirement for one warehouse and purchase order for requirement for other warehouse, this is not possible. The MRP does not differentiate between requirements for different warehouses. (You canu2019t restrict the requirements by warehouse either.)
I believe the method is assigned to the Item (OITM) only and not on the Whse Level (OITW).
You would have to create a different Item for each procurement method.
