Hi,
Is it possible in IBP to give the statistical forecast a growth rate?
e.g. I expect a 5 % growth rate and the statistical Forecast should be consider this.
I guess, that this is a part of the preprocessing and data cleansing or give it a further idea ?
Thanks in advance
Oliver
Hi Oliver,
e.g. I expect a 5 % growth rate and the statistical Forecast should be consider this?
SAP IBP standard functionality cannot consider the growth rate during the statistical forecasting process. But you can enhance the process by applying a custom calculation as below.
1. You will execute the statistical forecast as a regular process.
2. You need to create a new key figure to calculate 5% or based on the requirement based on the statistical forecast or calculate 5% growth rate based on historical forecast or actual sales using custom key figure calculations.
3. You need to add the growth rate to the standard forecast key figure.
SAP Demand roadmap (1811 - 1902) cover this requirement.

Hi Ankur,
The above comment was a typo error.
I mentioned that it is not covered in the roadmap instead of covering in the future roadmap. I have updated the comment now properly.

Hi Rainer,
for my understanding, it gives more than one point.
E.g. the statistical forecast should be consider a 5 % growth instead of the last year.

Hi Oliver, you mention a growth rate of 5%. Could you pelase specify a bit more what this means?
5% on top of what?
Thanks and best regards,
Rainer
