Portal Component Items Missing!

Hi,

I have developed a Portal Application using NWDS and deployed the par.

The portal component is missing, in components and services in the portal...

When i refresh the state...

I get the following INFO: restart of Portal Application <application name>

Since i am new to EP, looking for suggestions in detail.
