Hi Experts,

We are in the process of setting up IPC. I've downloaded KB and runtime version and configurable products from ECC to CRM 7.0. But when I'm trying to simulate the product I'm getting a blank IE page.

When checked in help.sap.com, I could able to see that I need to do some XCM setting. for that I need to logon to IPC .

I'm using http://<host>:<port>/<web app name>/admin/xcm/init.do url to logon to the IPC but I'm getting an error start page is disabled.

So can any one please suggest Idea of how to activate IPC / Do XCM settings?

First of all you need a J2EE instance on your CRM server or alternatively a separate J2EE server. And there your basis guys need to install JCRM components. This is described in the CRM master guide. Can be found via this link: service.sap.com/instguides

Still it is not working, if you have docment which says about settings for IPC, can you please forward me.

Hi Vinod,

In table Comm_ipc_url, the destination UI_CFG should point to the URL

http://<server>:<port>/ipc/ipc/command.do

As already said in the previuos post, XCM admin page can be accesses at

http://<server>:<port>/ipc/admin/xcm/init.do.

You need J2ee admin user credentials for this. your Basis admin can help you.

In XCM admin, under customer configuration, create a new Jco.

Also maintain the table COMM_IPC_PROP with the right customer configuration name.

Hi Praveen,

Now I've created one XCM - Customer Application Configuration component in XCM(IPC).

Now when I opened the configurable product and select the model variant in Configuration tab and clicked simulation a page is being displayed, where if I select the KB, in the right hand side profile is being displayed.

After selecting the profile the actual configuration of product is being displayed where after selecting all the parameters if click Accept I'm getting an runtime error in the IE.

Can any one please help me out in figuring the problem.

Hi Experts,

Now the Product Simulation runtime error is resolved ,

I've downloaded the configurable products, KB and Runtime Versions along with the pricing condition from ECC to CRM.

When created the sales order in CRM with configurable product, after configuring the product sales value is being displayed and is being saved with out any errors.

But when trying to replicate the sales document from CRM to ECC I'm getting the below errors, so can any one pls let me know what to be done to resolve the errors.
