Form Settings on BOM

Hi All,

In The Form Settings for BOM's, when you click on Find and list all existing BOM's, it displays only the BOM Name (description) but not the Code (OITT.Code). Although it does say in the Form Settings that it displays the Parent Item but it doesnt.

Is this a SAP Issue perhaps?

Regards,

Wynand.

Hi,

This will be because within the form settings the last column is a check box called display description, if this is ticked and you are displaying the BOM item number field then the description will display instead. If you untick this, update, close the find box and open it up again then the code will show.

Hi Wynand

This is true that you cannot see the code in find mode, but there is a way to make it visible. You group the find mode columns on Parent Item then again open the find mode. You will be able to see the Parent Items with a + sign next to them. When you expand the same you can find the Code for the BOM Parent Item.

Hope you found what you were looking for!!!
