Hi,
I have created some R/3 transactions and assigned to end user.
When i click on some Transaction name, it prompts me for username and password.
Can i personalise this by taking the username and password automatically.

Raju

How to Connect to SAP R3 System through Enterprise Portal 7.0 Using an iView
U can do user mapping from identity management.
Select u r system alias from the user mapping tab in identity management for a particular user.
Then map the user with the system using user id and password of u r3 system.

Hi,
You have to use SSO. You can use logon tickets or user mapping. If logon tickets, then make sure require configurations are done in both portal and ABAP system for SSO. Once that is done, you can change the portal system (R/3 system) properties 'User Management' to use logon tickets. If you are not going to use logon tickets, then you can do user mapping for the system directly from Identity Management. In this case also, 'User management' property of system should be changed accordingly for uid, pwd.

Hi,
From User administration -> Identity Management, select the user, group, or role that you want to map to a user (who is accessing the transaction iView). Click on Modify button below to edit details. Go to tab User Mapping for System Access . Select the R/3 system from dropdown and enter R/3 username and password to which this portal user or group is to be mapped to.
Open system properties and go to User management. Give the following values for the properties.
User Mapping Type :admin, user
Logon Method : UIDPW
