Potential issues with BI Objects already in Prod that are used in Devp.

Hi Experts

We are going live this weekend. This is BI 7.0 environment with only Devp and Prod systems.

There have been many BI Projects that have gone live in the past years.

In our piece of Project, I used certain BCT Objects such as 0CALDAY, 0CCM_TMSTMP, etc in my DSOs and ICs which will be populated with data that is concatenated in the Transformation Rules. For example, 0CCM_TMSTMP = ZDATE + ZTIME (concatenation).

I did not collect these Objects in the Transport Request since they are already existing in the Production. Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

Now, when the other Z BI Objects are transpoted into Production such as ZDATE and ZTIME in this case, does the system configure the Routines / Concatenations that I've configured in Devp into Prod automatically and everything is configured and ready to be used in the Prod?

Is this how it works or do I have to do some kind of configuration in the Production also?

Also, I am not Transporting other BCT Objects such as 0CHNGID, 0RECORDTP & 0REQUID. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

I want to avoid any kind of hassles w.r.t. Transports during Go-Live this weekend.

All the Transports are in the specified Package and Transport Number as I wanted for the moment.

Let me know if there would be any kind of potential issues during Releasing and Imports Transports into Production?

Your time is much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Chandu
