Show/Hide Grid with Macro

Hello All,

I would like to write a macro that sets the grid size, shows the grid and turns on snap to grid. Is that possible in BO?

Hi Sourashree,

Thanks for responding to my question. I understand that macros can be written in VBA, and have some experience in VBA from other applications (Access, Excel), but do not know the syntax that BO uses to make changes to the Grid. If anyone can tell me the syntax, or point me to documentation of the syntax, I would appreciate it. (I did read the Develop Guide - but it was only general information, not specifically about the Grid settings).

Well - it looks like macros aren't saved in the template anyway - so I'll just have to go the low-tech route and tell the users to change the grid settings every time they create a new report. Thanks for your input Shweta...

You can write macros in Desktop Intelligence using the integrated VBA

environment.
