''the field name is not known''

When i run the report i am getting ''the field name is not known'' but the procedure,field are correct only,

the formula is:

ucase(Replace({PRC_RI_STAFF_REP.RPT_ASC},"^^",Chr(13)&Chr(10),1,-1,1))

Verify your database to see if the field name hasn't changed especially if the report has been created for a while.

I am getting an error saying thatu201Dthe special variable u2018Formulau2019 must be assigned a value with in the formulau201D Could you tell me where I could be rectify?

in the formula editor check up top, I'm pretty sure that you have the syntax set to Basic, change it to Crystal.

Its's Crystal only,It may happens as you said,but at this Scenario I am getting error:NO DATA FOUND ORA-06512

If the field name is hilighted with error then double click on the field that you have in report fields to replace the correct field name.
