Need to Make a Real not Statistical Posting to Cost Center

Hi,

We need the posting of certain type of Debit memos to post to cost center as Real. For this we have removed the cost element used in the posting from the FI transfer structure so posting do not flow to COPA. But the Debit Memo postings still are going to COPA and cost center is getting only statistical posting. It seems it is happening due some settings at the sales order level probably some condition type mapping to COPA Value Field. Can someone please explain how can we stop the posting flowing to COPA and cost center get the real posting for this particular GL account?

You cannot post to a cost center using a sales invoice/billing document.

We are not trying to post to a cost center using a sales invoice/billing document. We are using a substitution rule to post to a cost center where the debit memo is posted to a certain GL account along with a certain material. So the sub rule is working fine but posting going to Cost ctr is statistical. It seems real posting is going to COPA due to mapping of condition type to a value field. We do not want the posting go to COPA for these Debit memos. So, how can we stop that? In other words, what settings may be causing the Debit Memo posting go to COPA.
